Terms of Service
Last updated: November 1, 2026
These terms cover your use of ShipReady Check ("we", "us") at shipreadycheck.com, including the free mini-scan and the paid full report.
1. What the service is
ShipReady Check is a launch checklist, not a penetration test or security audit. We run automated, passive checks against publicly available pages and files of the URL you submit and send you a report with suggestions. A report with few or no findings does not mean your site is secure, compliant, or free of defects.
2. Permission to scan
You may only submit URLs for sites you own or have explicit permission to scan. By submitting a URL you confirm that you have that permission. We may refuse any scan, including government, financial and major-brand domains, at our discretion.
3. How we scan
Our checks are passive: we make ordinary GET and HEAD requests to public pages and assets, at a limited rate, identifying ourselves with the user agent "ShipReadyCheck/1.0". We do not log in, submit forms, attempt exploits, guess credentials, or access databases. If we find what looks like a secret key, we never use or test it, and we show it masked in your report.
4. Payment and refunds
The full report is a one-time payment processed by Stripe. If you're not satisfied, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. If we don't deliver your report within 24 hours of payment, we refund you in full.
5. Your use of the report
Fix prompts and suggestions are provided as-is. Review any change before applying it to your app. You are responsible for your site, your code and your keys.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the report in question (or US$0 for free scans). We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including security incidents, data loss or lost revenue.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
